Re: Driving Strikers Online Demo Released
Finally hooked up my DC again after moving. Great to see how simple this is to get online with a BBA, haven't tired with my DreamPI yet. This has a lot of potential and I love the effort/dedication. Amazing after all these years having online homebrew.

Re: COVID 19 Thread
Past monday I got the first dose of sinovac, next one in 3 weeks, hope more people take the shot so it makes the difference. Glad to hear you got vaccinated. I hope the rest of you and your families can get your vaccine as soon as possible. We're not through this yet, but we are getting there. 1 Va...

Re: You've just got a curry delivered, but you also smell and need a shit
This is ignoring the fact that after consuming the curry you will defiantly need to shit again.
Also, depending on the spiciness of said curry, you might need to shit during your meal.
One can not decide without enough data.

Re: Very disappointed EDIT: HUGE UPDATE INSIDE
Dragyn's Image SlideShow, GypPlay, and the PlanetWeb browser were the shiiiiiiit for the growing teenager with no privacy at the family computer 100% this. My parents eventually understood that the long phone cord going into my room had me playing games online, but didn't anticipate that I was also...

Re: Has anybody heard about Atomiswave games being hacked to play on DC?
I've downloaded a few of them onto my MODE. Dolphinblue in particular is an absolute blast and I really wanted to sit down with a friend to play it once that 3rd level glitch is fixed. These ports are pretty special, as the arcade gameplay and timeframe of their release really make them feel like le...

Re: PSO Questions & Answers
Another question about this server. Are PSOBB or EP3 support actively in dev? If so how is that going? V2 is my bread and butter forever, but in the end I'd love to see this the server for all things PSO. Hopefully PSOX can join us one day if that insigna project ever comes to fruition.

Re: PSO Questions & Answers
So, it isn't possible for me to connect to the Sylverant server simply through the DC's modem itself? It NEEDS to be through this DreamPi setup? So, in other words, if I want to play online and access all the online-exclusive stuff (which is a considerable portion of the game), I'd need to pay arou...

Re: Asking for help to save our home
Hang in there! Sounds like you got really screwed, but I'm glad to hear you have someone there with you. In times of absolute shit, that can make all the difference in the world. Hopefully you can get some traction on this. If you are registered over at DCtalk, I'd say try posting there too. This pl...

Re: PSO Questions & Answers
I'm surprised there were people opposed to it, especially as many people use Ives "enhanced" version of PSO that does just that for ULT mode. I am guessing most people just don't know that PSO drops are essentially broken and mathematically impossible in many cases. Besides working on /sdr...

Re: PSO Questions & Answers
Makes sense. Thanks for the clarification.
So going back to the original question, since the server can control drops is there a possibility of events or event rewards involving increased drop rates?

Re: PSO Questions & Answers
If i understand correctly, the game client still controls the drop rates themselves, the sever just tells everyone what the drop will be? So drops themselves can be changed, but not the rates of the drops?

Re: PSO Questions & Answers
Something I've always been curious about. Is it possible for the server to offer double XP or increased drops rates for event? Ive always assumed XP was handled by the game itself, but with server drop command being a thing... Is either possible?

Re: In The Line Of Fire Source Code Release
Glad to hear things are really working out for you. Thanks for releasing what you had, it all looked very impressive. Shame to hear you will be leaving the scene, but everyone moves on eventually. Here's hoping you can recover what's left, but if not I still thank you for the release. This scene alw...

Re: COVID 19 Thread
Here in Japan, people are still not taking it seriously. Yea schools are closed, and the government has nicely asked businesses to close, but that just has tons of people out and about. So many people are just continuing business as usual. It's actually quite maddening. I am at least in the lucky si...

Re: Dreamcast Classic
Give it another ten years or so. Don't need another half-assed mini system like Sony did. Heck it took a lot for Sega to even be able to get the Genesis mini as good as they did. Mini consoles of 6th gen stuff is going to be a much harder sell I think. There is a different kind of nostalgia for 8/16...

Wrote a few long winded responses to this, but kept deleting them. However you deserved a quick reply. The long and the short of it is, At this stage in my life, I really try not to hold grudges.
