Almost 18 years...

Holy crap. I just logged in after six years and noticed my join date was Oct 2001. This October will be 18 years a member here in these fine forums. Truth be told I haven't had a Dreamcast for the past few years but remembered the good old times and the homebrew scene so I decided to grab one again....

Re: Burning Dreamcast .CDI files with a Mac..

Well, I have tested many methods on the Mac (since moving to a Mac Mini Late 2012 recently) and I just decided to use bootcamp. Windows 7 works fine on it, and good old tools (just DJ) work fine with an external USB LG burner. At least I can burn discs again...

Re: Last time logged in: 2003!

One of the first things I had found was that Heliophobe had passed away. That was two years ago. What a horrible thing to find out. I spoke with him many times and he always had a good word to say. Didn't expect to find that out at all...ugh.

Last time logged in: 2003!

Holy crap! I just logged in after what I knew was some time, but SEVEN years! I commend the powers that be that kept my account alive this long ;) I am really glad to see DCEmulation still alive and kicking, especially as I had somewhat recently decided to venture back to my DC roots and purchased a...

Welp, Reaper's site is back up under a different software developing name. Who knows what the future brings. Only one little thing bugs me a little (and this is in no way a shot at Reaper) but am I the only one that notices a difference in the posts worded here and the updates worded on his site? Th...

After testing the Shareware ROTT in Windows with rottwin, that works, but my original files do not. Can it be a filename thing? Or maybe my original files are corrupt?

I'm trying to figure out what I am doing wrong. I placed my original files from the PC version in a folder called "Rott" on the root of the cd and burned. I get "Now Loading" on the screen for a second, then a black screen. Any ideas?

This same filter is within the Nvidia drivers for my card on the PC. I have actually gotten used to it and now prefer it even in the DC emulators. Reaper, I wonder if you can add this filter and have it selectable on/off in System 16 emu?

Not a problem. I may make SBI files of some of your older releases for people if they want them. I emailed it to you just now.

I can't recall since I haven't booted nesterDC in awhile, but isn't this blurriness a feature of full screen stretch? I can't remember if you can turn this off in the options however...

Well, beta 2's intro folder is actually called "intro2", but other than this looks about right. I have created an SBI file for System 16 Beta 2, and as soon as someone can host it for me you can try that if all else fails. It would be good for the newbies and people who want to add the emu...

Ok, I have successfully created a working System 16 Emu Beta 2 SBI file complete with screenshot for Dream Inducer. Reaper, would you like to host it as a download on your site? Unfortunately I have no web space available.

ARe you planning on releasing SBI files for this emulator? I'd love to add it to my inducer cd with your other releases, but I guess they all have to be converted to sbi for that. What does it take to create an sbi anyhow?

Ok, I found the problem that everyone is having with teh SBI files. You NEED to have the Midi files unzipped in your root directory in inducer. It will reboot without them. I got the games working, but when it loads it grinds my DC drive back and forth for like 3 minutes. Is this normal? Once in the...
