DreamSNES 0.9.7 's speed?

I know they said they would hopefully be at full speed by 1.0, but are they near it yet?

I havent messed with dreamsnes since 9.4, so I havent really kept up-to-date with the changes.

I have ran into this problem before.

You are just missing the right codec, try downloading the codec on the URL below and install it.

http://www.nivelvirtual.net/nimo/

If that doesnt work, you should go spam the divx site forums

Best vdub setting for non-cartoon like movies?

Just out of curiosity, what do you guys use for the best playback for non-cartoon/anime movies? I cant quite get it where I want it. Lately, Ive been encoding 700 bitrate and resizing to around 320-240 while trying to keep the other setting's around the original format. eg. If the orginal video was ...

This is supposed to be the dreamcast's default movie format. But from what I hear, it was horrible to use with anyth...

MPEG Layer 3 problem

This problem is only on 1 of my computers, which happens to be the fastest machine I have. I have been encoding on a 400 mhz machine for the past few months, but it's just too slow. So I wanna encode on the newer comp. For some reason, I cant get Vdub to encode mpeg L-3. I have tryied using lame, an...

yep, audio works fine.

Like I said, its only when I try to encode 3.11 into 5.0

I can encode 3.11 into 4.0, and then encode the 4.0 into 5.0 and it work fine.
Just not directly from 3.11 to 5.0

you should try to drop the height in the resize filter of vdub.

Best way to get it right is by making a "dummy" disc and just keep resizing it in vdub until you get it the way you want it.

Im no expert on the dcdivx, but their could be many things that cause that. first, are you clicking the little box below where it shows you the different HZ to dub the audio in? Second, have you tryied using lame or another type of codec like that? One of my computers, for some reason, will only sho...

a weird problem with Vd

ok, I cant figure it out, so I decided to ask here. When dubbing this video with VD, I do the MPEG Layer-3, 22050 HZ, mono, etc..etc.... Then when I start the dubbing, I get an error saying: Error initializing audio stream decompression: The requested conversion is not possible. Check to make sure y...
