SCUMM VM = full speed?
If I run the Scumm VM on Dreamcast, those games that run "perfect", do they also have full speed?

Ok then..
You're right. It probably wouldn't work making a fully working SVCD player for the Dreamcast, no matter how nice it would be :) A good SVCD must have a max bitrate of 2500-2600 kbps and preferably an average bitrate at like 1400 ... so I guess it wouldn't work too good. And converting from SVCD to D...

DC can play div-x but not mpeg-2?
Hellu. Just wanna ask. The Dreamcast can (sorta) play div-x movies. But is there no way to make a working mpeg-2 player?

Didn't know
Oh, are the Gameboy and PSX versions any good?
Have you actually tried Secret of Mana in Dream Snes? I have, and I don't know what you count as 100% speed, but the game runs slowly. Not extremely slowly, but slowly enough to be too annoying to play, I think.

Seiken..
Seiken Densetsu = Secret of Mana in English..
Chrono Trigger is very slow in Dreamsnes, I don't think it's playable. FFIII also.
I haven't tried Secret of Mana (Seiken) since I thought it probably won't be very playable.

Will we ever see a GBA emulator for DC?
What do you think? Is it likely someone will make a working GBA emulator? Is there one being made that you know of?

What I meant was that it's easy to connect them to PC, so is there a way of doing it to DC?

Connecting other console joypads to DC?
Hey. When emulating on PC, it is possible to connect SNES, Genesis, Master System etc controllers to the PC, if you use different programs and modify a parallell port cable somewhat .. :-) Of course, this improves the feeling of the emulated game. So my obvious question is, is there any way of doing...

Nice..
Aha, very nice. Which means, it wouldn't be a too wild guess to believe that it might progress nicely in a few months or something?

I understand
Aha! That explains it all. I was thinking about the Sega Smash Pack one day, and thought that it had to be a kind of emulator. I see.
And that = illegal I suppose :-)
Thanks for the replies!
Any chances we might se an emulator just as good, but legal, for the DC?

Thanks!
Thanks! But I've been hanging around this page for about a year or so.. from what I recall there used to be another really good Genesis emulator, made by Sega or something, or at least so I heard. What happened to it?

More DC emulators than featured on DCemulation.com?
Sorry for my ignorance, if you think this post is to stupid to answer, then don't.. :-) But I checked out DCemulation.com for Gameboy emulators, so I figured they should be under the handheld category. So there was Boob!boy. Then I found another emulator, DCGGNUboy, which seemed to be working even b...

I know I can get one .. :-) So for an ordinary gamer (DC, emulators) there's no greater point but to backup the savegames?

Dreamcast->PC cable necessary?
Is there any greater point of buying such a cable? Just asking. What is it meant for? :-)
