It causes no problem whatsoever, you will have the same internet speed and so on. Every other emulator with BBA support uses that TAP thing. Demul for example.

Aha, I see. Thanks for clearing this out for me. I suppose it's even more interesting then in another versions, a little bit of difficulty is fine by me. Was used to v2/PC and BB, where you keep your meseta, or at least you can get it back when it drops on the ground.

When your character dies in GC version of PSO, does meseta fully dissapears or it will stay on the ground? It feels like an emulation error to me. (in which case I'll go to Dolphin's forum)

Recently I changed my OS, and had the same situation. Well, you can start online mode, type /save 1.. and server will save your backup data. To load your data, type /restore 1. But I don't know, is it the right method. It just works for me.

P.S. All bank items will disappear.

What is the best way to play PSO PC on Linux? I've heard that you can run it with Wine, but is it possible to play online with it?

P.S. I am using Lubuntu 12.04 right now.
