Re: Tutorial: How To Improve The Emulation Speed in DreamSNES
I have found that games run faster if you only hold a small number of roms on each bootdisk. I played Mega Man X3 with 100 roms on dreamsnes, and it was terrible. I then tried it again on a bootdisk with only 19 roms, and it runs smoother. I'm not sure if I'm crazy, but it's worth a try. Even Mario ...

Re: dreamsnes is not working for me...
Thanks, bud. I actually found a vid on fixing it. I twisted some tiny screw with a flat head near the laser a tiny bit, and everything works perfect on the first try now! I'm pretty stoked that I finally got it working, and I also appreciate the helpful tips.

If this topic is elsewhere, I am sorry that I didn't notice it and read it. Anyways,
update:
I found out my DC is dirty and the laser is probably shot, so I think this should be my number one priority lol

Re: How to create a selfbooting DreamSNES disc with games
Okay, thanks I'll keep trying. One quick thing, what is the correct layout for separate roms or is there a thread somewhere explaining that? I am not good with this sort of thing.

Re: How to create a selfbooting DreamSNES disc with games
I just tried buring using cdrecord out of bootdreams, and it didnt work. I browsed for the cd folder, set the burn speed to 4x and left the disc format at audio\data. I thought it would have worked.. but the dreamcast still doesnt read it. I know the dreamcast works for this kind of thing because I ...

Re: How to create a selfbooting DreamSNES disc with games
I've created the cdi image before and tried burning with discjuggler, and it doesn't work. That is the way I have tried to a few times with no results. Are there certain settings I should be setting discjuggler to or burning it a certain way?

Re: How to create a selfbooting DreamSNES disc with games
Is creating a disk really this easy? If so, I must be overlooking something because I've wasted 10 cdrs trying to make this happen. I havent tried burning right from bootdreams yet, but I will. I am on the verge of giving up. Could a problem be that I am using windows 7 or a laptop?
