Re: freeglut+libEGL+libGLU ports

Thanks, everyone. It was helpful that my sister and oldest brother flew into town to be with us at the end. He went the way he wanted. In any case, programming (especially on these older system) has always been a comfort, so I'm working on stuff to keep myself busy to avoid becoming depressed. My c...

Re: How to set SDL in KOS?

I don't have any other examples for libtsunami other than what's included with KOS. Of course, the Feet of Fury source code might provide some insights, since that's where libtsunami was derived from. As for libtiki, that's pretty much dead since nobody has been maintaining it for a while. The sour...

Re: How to set SDL in KOS?

Is there any example other than what it's included in the Kos examples for libtsunami? What happened to libtiki? I want to start a 2D renderer. I've used SDL for a lot of ports and it does the job, but not if you want to squeeze the system. The good thing about it is the multi platform without too m...

Re: This server has a problem ?

There is supposed to be a watchdog monitoring whether it's up or not.
I don't have access to the servers as of now. I will have to talk to the people hosting it and perhaps look a bit more into it.

Thanks for the notice guys.

Your API is awesome, that seriously looks much better than most commercial game graphics from back then.

Are those q3 format maps?

Re: powervr2 limits

Ps2 stayed longer. Sega didn't squeeze the dreamcast as much as developers did on the sony system.

I think it would be close to some ps2 ports. Perhaps with some tricks it might look better in some occasions. Since the textures on the dc look much better in comparison. That and antialiasing.

Re: 3d software for dreamcast

It does work, perhaps you could use the model loading and soem other stuff. But that engine itself is way too slow to be usable ad expecting great framerate.

PH3N0M's openGl provides much more performance.
