Re: Classic wiimote to DC mod

phisejr wrote:so you guys still think its impossible ? for the dual analog support on the Dreamcast ?
Only if you convert the D-pad to the second one.

Take apart a PS1 dual-analogue stick controller, rewire dpad's buttons to right analogue stick

Done.

Why not just release it as is, and let the community continue working on it?

crazy idea are great, but with infinite luck, you will never make a usb adapter, sorry.

take the good cable out and try it out in the broken DC

Re: Infrared/Wireless DC Controller

you can do this without opening and soldering, but you will need 3 things

1. PSX to dreamcast controller adapter
2. dreamcast to PSX controller adapter
3. wireless PSX controller adapter

A switch would be possible, but it'd require a 14pin switch ... or for the nes controlelr only, a 9 pin one ...

Re: Official DC Overclocking thread

yeah about the OC vmu...so what happens to the vmu if its not OCed and the DC is? Does the dc just not read the VMU anymore? Or does ir read but theres no visuals? using the official vmu, induvidual saves or entire vmu may will eventually get corrupted, especially the ones that autosave some users ...

thats fucking brilliant !! props to you, sir!!!

question: do the buttons on dreamast controller work if pressed simulateneoues/shortyl after the nes controller's buttons while the nes controller is connected?

consider making a switch so u can still use it as a VMU slot? :D

Re: Making a BBA?

imho, the biggest problem is that so far too many people talk about it yet no one made a prototype.

how about writing a program that uses the existing usb coder's cable for two dreamcasts no communicate to each other through a PC ?

a very reasonable and plausible approach
