i am jsut wondering what modes you can use and how online play works with this game, since i have never played a nhl game online before.
im thinking about getting the game, and i want to know if its worth it, and if not, what about nhl 2k7?

I think the voice chat sounds cool enough to justify the game purchase for online play. If it were single player I'd probably pick it up once it hits the bargain bin, but online play is always fun and voice chat over a handheld sounds pretty neat. single player mode is basically the whole point of the game. The online mode is justa thing they added, wich is pretty cool and fun. I think once u beat parts of the story, you unlock characters in online mode. About quest/story integration/enemy variety/level design... i would have to say its prett...

having trancparency off can speed things up a lot, but makes the game look bad or unplayable. I turned it off for secret of mana and was forced to turn it back on cause the fog was blocking my view.

Get a wide screen tv, a lot better.
