OK so I think i've posted somewhere on here about my inconsistent Dreamcast. Has trouble loading my pristine Shenmue, but has no trouble with a scuffed 2nd hand Sonic Adventures. So anyway, I've been picking up DC games in rather quick succession lately, and now I have some other weird problems. BTW...

Well i cleaned and fiddled the lid switch, and wiped the laser with a cue tip i held over steam so it was a little damp, and Shenmue booted first go.

But then froze up the stairs of that sailor bar.

Well I've already had the reset problem and fixed that today, so i might try the lid switch tute. And if i still have no success, then i may try the read error tute.

failing that, i may just peg the thing at a stray cat :P
