Here's whats new. *I finally got my hands on a Dreamcast again, and all my hardware. *I transfered schools, and a lot of stuff didn't get backed up either. I lost most of my dream cast code. *Give me a little while...

Is there a way to disable depth testing all together? I plan on porting hxRender, and well, it's kinda a necessity to NOT have depth testing.

Now, why didn't you just tell us all this in the first place? Was it realy so hard?

Is it DWANGO wireless games, or is it DWANGO as in Dialup Wide Area Network Gaming Operation? Those are the first two google results.

Well, I've been going through the source of dreamcast modem driver. In the example posted, you can dial a PC if it's directly connected. It didn't make any mention of needing the 9v battery hack. I guess you can treat it like a null modem device. I'm going to stick some effort into playing around wi...

That still doesn't make any sense. Are you talking about a laucher program for something like quake, where you can pick the PAK file to load with?

You still aren't giving out anything usefull. It's like you are trying to be intentionaly vauge. Give us details!

This is something dumb I tried, but it works, probably the CD equivalant to blowing a cartridge out. slide the laser back. It worked for me, havent had problems since it forced the laser back to neutral and things worked again. Another thing, if it won't read at all, try pressing on the back of the ...

On linux you can create a copy of the GCC compiler settings and then set the compiler programs to use the kos gnu_wrapper scripts. No fussing with the compiler/link settings at all! ..... The only requirement is that you have your environ.sh script executed before starting the wrapper scripts. This...

Since this thread is still on top, I've discovered the DC VS cable. Does that one work as well as the NeoGeo Pocket -> DC link cable for making stuff like the USB adaptor and standard coder's cable?

Somebody posted a link a few pages back about getting a hard drive working under FreeBSD on the dreamcast. The circuitry didn't look all that complex. Granted, a hard drive is a totaly different device than a LAN card, but could a similar principal be applied?

Lik-Sang, and other import shops would be in heaven if they could get somebody to produce a dreamcast BBA. What would the chances of sega releasing the IP surrounding the BBA to the public? Companies like Intel do that all the time.

The only hard part about that would be building a PCI/Serial bridge connection, and picking the right PCI ...
