Re: Two interesting Dreamcast issues

It might play Skies of Arcadia, he used to play parts of it on CDr (echelon), Shenmue and I think he mentioned Rayman 2 as well, but those are absolutely the only ones I know his Dreamcast has ever played. Anything else simply doesn't work, and trust me, we tried a lot of games, whether they're CDr ...

Re: Need advice on ebay dispute...

Ebay's feedback system is inherently flawed anyway. I've once been scammed with a DVD but as soon as you give negative feedback you'll receive negative feedback as well with some BS arguement. I wish it were set up in such a way that feedback would only be visible once both parties have given feedba...

Re: Reading GD-Rom Discs with a YAMAHA CDR400t

Familyguy, please keep us updated here, I'm very interested in this for emulation purposes and helping out some fellow Dreamcast emulator authors in case I could finally read my own GD Roms. My biggest complaint about Dreamcast emulators is that they can't play original games, and all the crap offen...

Re: Me Playing Samba De Amigo (Youtube)

I recently purchased my second set of Maracas. For those interested, Play Asia sells the EMS ones for $25,-

Especially for those in Europe that's a steal, so get them while you can :D

This game definitely is the best party game out there.

Two interesting Dreamcast issues

First of all my apologies for not being more clear in the topic subject, but I really didn't want to make two threads. This past weekend has been a weird one for me, I've been messing with two Dreamcasts, one of my own and one of a friend. Mine quit working two months ago, here's what happened: At a...

Re: Hardest Game You Have Ever Played?

Contra. All the Contra games I've played are just unreasonably difficult. I guess there are super-hardcore freaks out there who enjoy the insane difficulty level of Contra, but that's why they must be freaks. Here's your answer for the Contra games: Ninja Gaiden isn't hard, just takes time to find ...

Scart RGB for TV output, and VGA for on my PC monitor... That is, until it died :(

If it weren't for the FAQ at Gamefaqs, I wouldn't have known about it either. Shenmue 2 has got a lot of these things you'd simply miss if you were to play it at your own pace.

Re: New PC advice

From what I know the x2 6000+ is about on par with the e6600 from intel. They draw less power when idle, but at full load they prefer a bit more than Intel, so it's pretty much a tie there as well, seeing how most of the time your PC will be idle anyway. You first have to ask yourself what you want ...

Re: Geforce Graphics Card Problem

It also happens when the power supply isn't good enough or delivering not enough power to the card. Though less likely, I wouldn't rule it out. I have to say that I don't have any idea on how hungry that series of videocards was though.

Re: What is the top of the line AGP card available

I would definitely NOT get that Visiontek. I remember that being one of the first ones to have hit the scene, and as you can see it has a different cooler, that makes a lot more noise and has some issues. Not even at $140 shipped? Please read up on this page of the review of this model, it might gi...

Re: And so it begins: RE5 accused of racism

So it wasn't racist for CJ to cap white people in GTA: SA?

Seriously, this was bound to happen, being the full of crap attention whore she is, it surprised there isn't a tiny final line saying "first".

Re: What is the top of the line AGP card available

That HIS card is the exact same one I have. Although mine is by Sapphire, they have the same specifications and cooler. It's a great card for AGP, but it gets pretty hot if you don't have a good airflow. Here during intense gaming it can get almost 100C, that's ATi for you. Still, I need to clean ou...

Re: Proposal for a spelling and grammar rule

There are only a handful of posters that such a rule would even affect, and even then those people are typically non-native english speakers. A grammar rule would be more likely to alienate people than to benefit this forum. From other forums I found it actually pretty ironic that it were mostly me...

Re: Post the last CD you bought

Demons and Wizards (self titled) Demons and Wizards - Touched by the Crimson King D&M is a project of Hansi Kürsch (Blind Guardian) and Jon Schaffer (Iced Earth). I haven't even listened to the first CD completely and I love it already. It's fast, technical and melodic. Add in Kursch' great v...

Re: Holy Crap, Sony Gets Their Game Together

Sony has impressed me with quite a lot of things lately. The PS3 looks like it has more potential to me than the 360, simply because of the upcoming games. Although the 360 looks promising as well seeing how it's getting some unique titles as well. Still, some of my gaming buddies either have or wil...

Re: Neverwinter Nights issue?

I never experienced that problem, but I know that the game was bugged like any other Atari PC game so be sure to update all the patches. There's been quite a few over the years. Even last year a big one was released.
