Shenmue US doesn't cost that much there and neither does JGR. If you're lucky you can bu...

I think it is a shame that Sega don't build a new system based on the DC Specs giving it more memory both main and video and a DVD-ROM instead of a GD-ROM and of course make it harder to hack and play back-ups on that for me is what killed the DC, the ease of how games were copied and no Mod-Chip n...

Yes but unfortunately the box didn't include a BBA :( So you still have to make it 'perfect' on your own. :? Anyway, here are some Resident Evil Code: Veronica screenshots. http://www.residentevilfan.ws/largeimages/gallery/recvscreen_2_lg.jpg http://www.residentevilfan.ws/largeimages/gallery/recvscr...

Someone is probably going to knock me silly for this, but if you have an xbox, Shenume 2 is dirt cheap and way easier to find than the European DC one. How are you non PAL people playing the european one anyway? I guess there's something as a 'bootdisc' ;) A friend of mine is getting the Xbox versi...

I've checked and the DC manual and discs fit perfectly in a normal PSX case. The only problem is that the front of a DC case is smaller than the PSX counterpart, so that's the only part that doesn't fit. Do you mean the front printed cover for the DC game is smaller than the PSX front printed cover...

@ dj898: The DC version has got no hentai scenes in it from what I've heard. @ qatmix: I didn't have very high expectations because I knew from before I wouldn't understand a thing about the story (which I heard is the best part of the game  ) so instead I focused on the music, voices atmosper...

Just a slight correction: Quake 3 does have slowdowns, sometimes when playing with 2p splitscreen the FR is slightly below the nice 30FPS, though it's a minor detail, since it doesn't affect gameplay. But thanks for all the input here, I'm going to try and get my hands on it :) (ps. I enjoy the foru...

:drooly: A lot of these pictures really look amazing, especially the one from London of MSR :D Too bad the game has some severe slowdown at places, and not everything looks as clear and sharp as Sega GT does. (take a look at the San Franciso picture on page two at the fence on the sidewalk and the j...

The last two were essentially an answer to all the PS2 hype at the time. To answer the question at hand, Did the Dreamcast's Power Get Used 100%? No. Reports were that it could potentially render up to 8 million polygons with the correct programming. Most games only pushed up to around 3-5 million,...

You are right in a way, with good headphones (most cheap ones suck at low frequencies) you can be better 'in a game' than with speakers. The most important thing is that there aren't any sounds outside of the game interfering with the experience. Another pro headphone thing is that you don't have an...

See, that's what's really better about the NTSC cases, they could fit all four discs into the size of one standard PAL case, so multiple disc games don't require any slipcover or anything. (Actually, you could fit five or six discs, I have a six disc jewel case that I use for all my homebrew stuff)...
