Wow, that fixed it. Actually, I just made a straight copy to CDR of the original and now it works! Weird.

I bought a Last Resort Neo Geo CD game from http://www.egameaddiction.com (great online store) and I can't get it to run on my Dreamcast with either of the emulators. It just gives me the stupid "insert disc" message each time I try it. Any ideas how I can make it work?

Is there a good image somewhere with NetBSD + X11 + cool apps? I would like to play Nethack on my Dreamcast. =)

I don't have an ethernet connection for the DC, so I'm pretty much limited to using what's available on an image. I've got linux on my pc though.l

If you watch on eBay you will find the Japanese version is pretty common whereas the US version is harder to come by.

My guess is that there are probably find 10 Crazy Taxi's to every 1 of this game.

I just bought a used Quake III and it won't work. I have 6 other DC titles, including Ikaruga I play with DC-X demo. All of them work, and my cd-r's, but Quake III won't. Are some GD-ROM discs defective? I've recalibrated the laser and it just won't work.

I can't understand why the DC can't handle 1541 emulation... I remember emulation C64 on my 486/100. Is the CPU on the DC not fast enough or is it the lack of RAM?

I'm running DreamFrodo, but whenever I enable the 1541 emulation, everything crawls. The problem is, it seems every game or demo needs this emulation... is there a better emu or a solution? thanks

I recalibrated the laser today pre the instructions on that site. It still won't load any discs. I'm wondering if it doesn't like my CDR medium, or if my burner is just no good, or my Nero settings are wrong. My DC says it was made in Aug of 99 on the label, so I don't understand it; it should work....
