SOul calibur has 8 player pass the controller. Checking back to R2R:R2, yes, there is a similar TOURNAMENT mode, in which up to 8 players can be tracked through the tournament. Obviously, only two can play at a time though. There are probably a few other games like this, and would probably warrant ...

Dr. Faust
I used to think Dr. Faust was maybe hideously disfigured from a medical experiment, or a disease, but apparently not.

If the file is RAR'ed, then you'll need WinRAR to extract it. If it's zipped, WinZIP or any other unzipper will do the job. If you're using Nero, you'll probably need a version before v.6. I tried burning the CD backup using v.6, but couldn't choose to burn as TAO. You'll need to burn as TAO (Track-...

I got Soldier of Fortune a few weeks back, and didn't play anything else until I had gotten through it. I have to admit, I loved the sneaking about, and picking off the enemies with the sniper rifle, or creeping up behind someone and silencing their screams with a sharp knife stuck in their lungs......

I don't know if it's the best golf game on DC. I've only played PAL TeeOff, and it's very good, I like it. Excluding emulation, I think it's the only golf game released outside Japan on DC. There is another one, Nettu Golf or something, but from what I've read, the TeeOff series is better. I have pa...

Well, I found some info here about the second link I posted. Seems the extra courses disk will probably only work with the reissue of the first game. http://www.segagagadomain.com/dreamcast-ntsc/golfshiyouyo-kouryaku.htm There are descriptions of the other disks, but it's still a bit inconclusive. h...

Yes, it doesn't look like there is a fuse there, at least not like the one in the PAL DCs. Maybe Japanese power plugs use fuses, and this is deemed enough. Anyway, have you tried the power board from your other JAP DC (in conjunction with the step-down voltage converter of course) to see if the rest...

I don't have a picture of a Japanese DC power board. If you can post a picture of the board you have, I can have a look and circle what may be a fuse. What region are you in? Do you have the power supply from your own region (US/PAL) that you can swap into the Japanese DC to see if it works? If you ...

Re: Spindle problems?
I recal a while back someone was having trouble with their dreamcast's drive spindle and 'turntable'; well to cut a long story (very) short I was given the task of fixing a dreamcast with a turntable which had been pushed downwards and the discs were scraping the black plastic GDrom cover. I opened...

Your controller ports are working OK? You've tested them with other controllers? If the DC is Ok, then chances are it's just a bad/dirty connection somewhere. Give the contacts a clean, as best you can, I know it ain't easy. If the controllers have been sitting in boxes for the past 5-odd years, the...

Testing the fuse isn't going to break the bank or waste a significant amou...

does anyone know if i could use a Europe/Pal power supply in a japanese DC ? Yes, it'll work perfect, provided it's only the PSU that's defective in your JAP DC. I'm assuming you tested the fuse on the PSU board (I know the PAL DC PSU boards have a fuse, near where the power comes into the unit; du...

is there a way to tell if my psu board is generating an improper voltage? Yeah but it won't help your situation All you need to do, if find where the battery is. Buy a replacement, and switch them Well, it will tell you if the PSU boards on your two faulty DC units are definitely faulty. You could ...
