The circled ribbon just came off.

I opened up my broken DC and I just noticed that the white ribbon that connects to the GD drive has come off, and I seem to have a hard time putting it back in. Anyone have any tips?

hi I was trying to mod my lid and took the screws out on the back, and now i am left with this big black thing and a metal rod. I tried to assemble it but i could not get the lid to open right . Can someone help me fix this problem?
