my power cord is cut in 2...

- to fix it would i just reconnnect it by soldering..

ie. join up the wires again... making sure they do not touch.... and wrapping them in duct tape..?

hey

does a VGA box improve the graphics... or stop lagging... or anything better that it appears on TV.

and also if you hook up your VGA box to your tv instead of the monitor is there any changes... or is it the same as using the original A/V cable

get a VGA box... not a VGA cord - the VGA boxes and VGA cords are the same - except.... VGA boxes can also plug into tvs... as the have a red, white and yellow outputs.... and also the VGA boxes have a computer monitor and speaker output (for both sound and video) while the VGA cord only has a monit...

- i just carved out all my vents.. 1 on the right side, 1 at the back, and the 3 on the bottom

- so now that there are only square/rectangular holes in the dreamcast case...

- im just wondering what people would or have used to cover these.. and still allow air flow...

- wire, grill?????

it is probly the power supply or the power cord... try dusting to the power supply and clean up the connections.. ie. clean the six pins that go into the power supply.. or get an eraser and clean the ends of the strip that connects the motherboard to the controller board.. etc.. or if you have anoth...

when repairing my ff1 resistor on my control board..

do i have to desolder the original on/ heat with a soldering iron...

- can i just cut it off at the bottom and replace it by soldering it back on
