I've tried some sonic hacks and many don't work with the latest build of Genesis plus.

I think it's due to wrong checksums, cause i suppose the emulator doesn't feature checksum fix

It's actually publicly availible, if you know how to find it =P
At the moment, the only way i see to find it is asking you that very polite question: where to get it?

blackaura: is it hard to implement a stereo/mono sound option, that actually can disable/enable stereo sound emulation? It might be of some use for those people that don't have a stereo tv. Already done - it respects the system setting, so setting the sound mode to mono in the Dreamcast's setup scre...

My brother's done it too, but without using a program, as we don't have a PC.I hope Genesis Plus can have working GG support in the future.Currently the only platform i can use GG codes is in my phone, thanks to PicoDriveS60.The developer of this emulator also added patch support, besides GG. blacka...

Well, i've just tested Sonic 2 and i concluded the crashes happen when the CPU is C68K.In Oil Ocean act 1, when i moved fast through the oil pipes, the game froze 2 times. And if you enable debug code, when you press B to turn into a object, the game (or even the whole thing) crashes Oddly enough, t...

I'm also happy with the current GUI.A black screen with white and yellow fonts.Simple, light and cool.

Segata Sanshiro: is it a 100 % crashing, that always happens when you reach some point of the stage? If yes, what is the point and act you've experienced it?

The game seems to work, I mean, you can see the demo playing rather well, it's just that it hangs when you press start in the title screen :x
Fatal Fury 2 also needs Mode button.

The analog thumb pad could be used as Mode button, and as Soft Reset too(maybe in combination with some other button). Some other things would be nice to have are the possibility to go to menu and then return to the game, and disc swap support. Another good thing is if the emulator could allow to to...

I've noticed a bug that happens sometimes. You try to load a ROM, and after the ROM is loaded, what you get is a static image of a game that was already loaded.See this example: http://www.yourfreespace.net/users/alb3530/GenPlusBug.3gp (121,27kb) here i had already played Revenge of Shinobi. Then i t...

I was thinking about that, cause i've noticed the hacks normally work even on those emulators that perform the checksum. I mentioned the checksum thing just cause in my phone, Tails in Sonic 1 hack works without problems. BlackAura, would this latest build of Genesis Plus refuse to run a ROM that ha...

I have a Symbian S60 phone, and there's a Genesis emulator for this platform, called "PicoDrive".Comparing it with GPdc, of course the latest build of Genesis Plus is much better, cause it runs most games at full speed with sound enabled. PicoDrive runs most games at full speed, but with sound disab...
