Ridge Racer for the DS doesn't look good at all. But that's really the worst DS game I've seen footage of. Most of the others look amazing.

I believe you could just remove the VMU.. To go back to the menu and select another game, press L + R + Start (if I remember it right).

I recently played Mario 3 on a real NES, and those messed up graphics on the right of the screen were also there! Isn't that just normal?

Is there anything to do to avoid the screen on SMSPlus to be vertically over-streched? This doesn't affect gameplay most games, but in Phantasy Start for example, you can't read all the text on the bottom of the screen...

Just be careful with the water! I used a plastic bag to protect the console. I opened the lid, put the DC inside the plastic bag (except the lid) and closed it. It worked fine
