i dont know off the top of my head but if i were to see the tut. the one on devcast is basically a translation of the one that everyone finds in japanese. all you do is lift part of the pin cominging from the 33mhz pin, and then take a wire from that and connect it to the 54 mhz graphics pin. i unde...

uh a wire and a dreamcast. you dont actually need an oscilator to do it. just remember that you can completely screw up your dreamcast by doing this. i already lost one to it and i (along with others) consider myself to be a pretty careful modder.

where (exactly) are you taking the power from. the actual psu (power source unit) or the pins that come from the mother board. if you're not running the leds in parrelel form one of the "dead" leds could be stopping the current to the others. kind of like (certain) cristmas light strands. ...

(if you're going to do it) for lubing up the rails i'd suggest a marine bearing lube. it's white, non corosive to plastic and highly moisture resistant.

hey remember he said that only that one controller doesnt work. hmm i wonder if he should not use that controller because it might break his dreamcast. or maybe if you like the colors just switch out the "case" from his non working controller to to one of his working ones. step 1. take apa...

well on some dreamcasts the internal battery can get loose. i'd open up your dreamcast and try to wiggle the battery around a bit. on one of my controller port boards i had to re solider the battery contacts.

well that's the problem. replacement parts always cost more than they should. i'd say just buy a new dc and then (either) use the "new" one or take the fan out of the "new" one and put it in your current one and use the "new" one for n e thing that might break on your c...

no you leave on your dreamcast for 2 hours to fully charge the internal battery to save the dreamcast's settings (time etc) then it lasts *unplugged\off* for 20 days. hope that answers your question.

well if the voltage is cut the fan wont run under its own power. but if you have the power for the fan cut and move the blades with your finger the dreamcast will stay on. so i'm pretty sure the pulse of the fan keeps the dreamcast going. the circuit that i made (just in case) takes that charge and ...

*bows* at your service. i dont see why you couldnt just take the positive of that fan and just hook it to the 7v of the psu. of course that might just burn up the fan. but who knows.
