There's no way the same thing that happend in Iraq is going to happen in Iran anytime soon. The only countries that would be interested in preventive war would be the UK and the US, like was already said the UK won't touch it without US backing. The US isn't going to fight another war anytime soon, ...

allright, got this baby up and working. only issues i've had is everyonce in a while save states won't work, and battletoads, battletoads/double dragon, and bad dudes won't work for me; but since they're all b games i'm thinking it might have been a bad burn, i'll have to try it again. anyway the o...

The laser system proved very inconsistent in hands-on tests, but it is, at the very least, an interesting approach. This sounds like more of a cheap ripoff than anything else. I haven't heard any of these problems from people that have tried Nintendo's new controller. Nintendo has most likely been ...

ok so how exactly do I get scummvm to work on the dc. I've read stuff in the past but none of it really made any sense. can anyone point me to an extensive tutorial geared towards n00bs. It would be much appreciated. I have Sam & Max, DOTT, and all the Monkey Island games on cd if that helps/me...

There's no such thing as a dumb question.

Use cd-r's, dreamcasts can't read dvds. And make sure you use a decent brand such as Verbatim, Maxell, etc. Crappy brands make the laser work a lot harder and may not even work at all.

NesterDC SE works great for me. I noticed that one of my favorite games, Bad News Baseball, doesn't work, however. The ROM works fine in all the RockNES and Nestopia on my Mac, just not in NesterDC (I don't think it worked in NesterDC 6 or 7 either). Meh, why play that when you've got Baseball Star...

I'm sure someone with enough time and skill could get N64 running smoothly on the Dreamcast. I mean look at Bleemcast!, it's silky smooth AND has all kinds of graphical enhancements. There are only a handful of 'complete' emulators at this point though and they're for 8-bit stuff(NES, SMS, GBC). I ...

I think they meant that this runs at 12FPS at maximum. By the looks of the screenshots of Mario 64 it runs at an average of 7FPS, which I believe to be far from playable speeds. Not to downplay this or anything, this is still quite an achievement! Just I hope any newcomers don't expect perfect N64 e...

Besides tabs aren't sold or anything. Of course they are. For example, Led Zeppelin , White Stripes , Slipknot , Norah Jones , The Offspring , just to name a few artists of different genres. True, but I was referring to the tabs that you can find on sites such as tabcrawler or the bass tab archive....

AMAZING release Scherzo! I really appreciate all the work you've put into this! That must have been a hell of a lot of data entry for you to go through. :D Here are a few things that I noticed that would make this already great release a bit better: -Putting in a general image for those games that d...

I think this is bullsh!t. I've been using tabs for years, in particular bass tabs. I can see how the lyrics may be a breach of copyright, but I don't think tabs are, unless they are directly pulled from a magazine or something. Tabs are just someone's perception of how a song is played. Besides tabs...

Definitely. 3% is way too high for any company, much less one as big and reputable as Microsoft.

What kind of screwed up legal system do they have over there? From what I thought, when you kill people and have a court date you don't decide whether or not to show up, you're dragged in there!

I am having a problem understanding what's wrong with Castlevania 3 though. I have it on Nester 6.5 and it works fine. Why isn't it full speed here? Are you sure you were using the US version of Castlevania 3? It is entirely possible that I managed to screw something up while in the process of fixi...

Looks good, although the wait is a bit of a bummer. That's what my wife said, I have to say the story really does look interesting. Not just something they made up to make a movie. It's funny, the more features I hear about the DC port of this emulator, the more skeptical I am that it's even going to be released within the next 10 years.
