nevermind. i must have accidentally gotten rid of NO_ROMS.HERE somewhere along the line, and it was trying to read my SMS roms.

save state

is the only reason DSnes doesn't support state saves filesize? it would make sense, as some of the nester/sms snaps get up to some pretty ugly sizes, and i would assume Snes could only be worse... granted, most SNES games have some sort of save function, but for those that don't... let's just say i'...

now we can start seeing games that mix the two parts of gameplay, and actually get some real, exciting from start-to-finish, mixed-gameplay and power-laden, brawlers.

play with transparency off, and turn sound off when you need transparency.

that way, most games are very playable.

also, why use mario allstars when you could play the games on nester, fullspeed?

thanks.

also:
i think smashDC would be a lot more valuable if smashTV wasn't one of the few games that ran really well on DSnes (with transparency off, but it's totally not needed in that game).

yeah, but is it homebrew good, or good good? i mean, my standards are lower than something i'd be spending money on, because i'm mainly just trying to bulk up my SBI disk with something other than nester, dsnes, sms, neocd, and beats of rage, rather than actually spend money on something, and... neverm...

are there any homebrew games other than beats of rage that are seriously worth playing?

*looks the other way*

i had a hell of a time trying to find a program for that, and eventually gave up, and got roms from a different source...

i for one certainly don't know what you'd need to convert them for, but hit that AIM button there at the bottom of my post and maybe we will talk.

one more request - you said you're using the super famicast menu layout, and i kind of have a couple of things about the nester menu that i prefer to sfamicast... for example, i really love how going to "select game" defaults to the "Nes" directory, where you can view all your ga...

well, i'm glad the button latency is being addressed, as that's my biggest complaint. and you didn't say anything about the whole business of the triggers, but with all the people concerned about it, i'm assuming you've got it covered. and as for using 7.1 - well, it IS more advanced technically, bu...

well, for one thing, the title of the menu should probably read "Beats of Rage" rather than "Beat's of Rage"... burner0 already switched "My favourite mod" to "Beats of Rage", so that's all the text editing out of the way. the current version is already very e...

hey dudes, what exactly do you use for "hex editing"? i'd like to change the text in the loader from "My Favorite Mod" to "Beats of Rage." i shouldn't really need much help, especially because it's only a text string i'm looking for, but if you could just show me what i...

burner0 knows what he's talking about. v7 did some stupid stuff, and if you could get us back on track (even using the CPU of v6 if necessary, as otherwise we miss out on such gems as battletoads), that would be excellent. like burner0, i've defaulted to using v6 despite the tiny slowdown in punchou...

romlist mysteriously stopped working right...

don't have any idea what is causing this, maybe somebody could help me out... for my first 10 or so burns of DSnes (i'm not that obsessive, i just put all my stuff on sbi disks so its on there every time), the rom list worked fine. sure, it was a pain to edit, especially when i had to keep certain g...

dreamer's readme is in the sbi, i just changed a few bits here and there - his name is still in it, of course. anyway, the BO1.PAK, BO2.PAK, BO3.PAK, and BO4.PAK all go in the inducer (root) directory. don't touch the data or mod folders; they're fine. now, the modname folder should contain modn1.tx...
