Do you mean source code referring to Metal Slug games? As far as I know both of the Neo Geo emulators were derived from the MAME Neo Geo drivers (The Neo Geo CD emulator that the Dreamcast port was based on having been derived from mame's drivers), so there will be comments in the source code refer...

i know the neo geo and the neoCD are different systems; i also know (prepares to get modded) neo geo games are a good deal easier to find in a form that can be...placed onto a CD, let's say. also, what do you mean about it only being able to run games of 4.5 megs? (ignore this if you are referring t...

MDCNG getting left in the dust?

i was just wondering, with all the great news on the NeoCD front lately, how come nobody ever talks about MDCNG? is it that much slower, or just (as i've noticed) horrifyingly complicated? i still haven't tried it, because i've got a bit of a phobia when it comes to wasting CD-R's and i'm not 100% s...

great job, ian and quzar. you implemented all the features i possibly could have wanted, all that's left now is cd audio fix and (possibly) SFX, although don't feel too pressed to do the latter.

although...why does second player have to use keyboard?

you say that like it's a small feat. well, actually, i'd imagine saving would be, but sound...well, i don't even know, but it's bound to be harder than implementing saving. and also the ability to boot right to a rom (i.e., rom.wsc, like nester and sfamicast do). but that pretty much covers it. i ha...

i have like 40 unused jewel cases lying around, in case you want them.

not sure how we'd handle shipping (i'm not paying it all), but if you want these they are yours.

from the default settings, the only performance related things you should play with are sound and transparencies. leave CPU optimization, mode7, etc., alone. generally, keeping either sound or transparency off results in a pretty solid, 80% speed experience with most games - stay away from mode7 (fz...

so, uh, due to the complete lack of responses (digital chaos doesn't count; i told him i'd give him my WSC if a capable emu for DC ever popped up and i'm pretty sure that's the only reason he posted), i can assume this is never, ever going to happen... i mean, it's not as if the only good game on th...

i just want to see a ZSNES port. take it from somebody who had a P1, 75mhz, 2meg video card, until 1999, if as much work had been done porting ZSNES as had been done porting SNES9x, we would have fullspeed by now. EDIT (look at the below post) - oops...uh...sorry...guess we would not, in fact, have ...
