i remember that ips patches were specificially made for megaman and goldenaxe 3 to fix the country lockout for those games. I cant find any working progz that do that type of thing, but i think knowing how to make patches like those may be useful... yeah, i have those, tried them, and they worked w...

finally got around to testing it (the SBI 3 from consolevision worked fine for those interested), and i must say, this is great news. although the sound could use a lot of work, in some ways (namely sonic 2 & general chaos) it's better than the illegal rip - which i swear i haven't tried - alrea...

I tried the sbi files....they don't work. I used the original ELF file of the 1st Genesis Preview Release, converted to BIN, scrambled it, and it worked, but is a little unstable. My question is......does anyone know where to get PLAIN files for the PREVIEW 3 release?????? I'm dying to try this out...

while you're working on the menu system, you should have it do something spiffy like default to a certain folder (like "gen") and hide extensions.

you say all these amazing things about c68k, would i be wrong in assuming that you could apply the same thing to any struggling (for lack of a better term) project on this site, like Famicast, and it would work miracles instantly?

or is it just a neoCD thing?

reading SBI cds in a PC..

i got a new computer recently. my old computer is currently not in the same place as i am - it wouldn't be terribly difficult to get to it, but it'd be inconvenient. anywho, i didn't bother backing up my roms and such because i figured, i can just rip them off the CD that's currently in my dreamcast...

pulstar actually seems slower than metal slug now, i can tell because the music tracks runs out on pulstar in a normal run through a level w/o dying whereas this doesn't happen on metal slug anymore.

that would be awesome, if those patches weren't for 7.1, 7.0, and 031602 (whatever that is - a date?) respectively, and i wasn't using v6.0 still. to be honest, i think i'm capable enough at C to do something like that myself, however i have no compiler and am not familiar with making IPS files. EDI...

finally got around to playing v8 and it's amazing, ian. managed to beat metal slug 1 only dying once, haven't been able to do that since the arcades :D and metal slug 2 is actually fun now. haven't tried pulstar yet, and those are the only 3 neoCD games i have. billinear filter looks amazing, please...
