Bumping a really old topic here but what rand linden said about everything being crackable was right as all 3 bleemcasts have been cracked now. I applaud you for it lasting the full life cycle of the product, thats good going and must of been good for sales, well done sir

its a longshot but check the speed control infomation wire on the fan.
this happens when the fan is unplugged as well and if the wire is loose or broken could cause what your describing.

when you say resets , do you mean returns to the screen where you have the vmu, controller ect or just plain blacks out ? if it returns to the bios screen then its quite possibly the cd closed switch not engaging properly. to test , take the top off and sellotape it down, if it runs for linger check...

never mind, fixed it now. one of the pots on the analog stick was out of alignment. popped it out , re centred it and it works better than when i first got it now(secondhand). funny that , i thought gamecube controllers autocalibrated.
