Sing The Sorrow - AFI

Been really liking 'December Underground' so thought I better check out the one before. Thanks to those that mentioned it in previous posts. Seems the UK version has 2 extra tracks too.

Yeah, the colour is better on CRT's but I have to admit that my eyes are much less strained since moving to LCDs. I spend most of my day staring at at monitor and it has helped enormously moving to LCDs - I'm less prone to headaches anyway. I do miss CRT when it comes to colour correcting stuff and ...

Dunno. Does it appear if you open the Disk Utility app for initialising drives? I use an SD for my camera with an external card reader and the card just pops up on my desktop like you mentioned. Maybe the card's duff. It might show up on a PC perhaps, and it's worth checking. If ot doesn't then I gu...

I'd rather fighting games not be realistic anyway, at least not totally. It would be amusing to see Knightmare slice through an opponent in one big swipe in Soul Calibur though, but from a playability point of view it seems that it could sterilise the play somewhat. The one strike and down comments ...

For 3 to 4 players, Powerstone 2 is very good fun and doubles at Virtua Tennis 1 or 2 is good too. Toy Commander is great and both Dead Or Alive 2 and Marvel Vs Capcom allow tag team fighting. I was also going to suggest some driving games like Wacky Races or San Francisco Rush but I have bad memori...

Yeah, the director's cut is fantastic. I'd be interested in seeing the new though, especially in the cinema.

It's probably that your TV is refreshing at 100 Hz then. If this is the case then the TV refresh rate is too fast for the gun. Alternatively your gun might be broken if you know for sure your TV is 50 or 60 Hz.

I just caved in to temptation the other week and bought a DS Lite. Like a lot of you, I love it - the brighter screens are amazing and the form is more comfortable etc but yeah, whilst the pad is perfectly functional it does feel a little wrong and like Mel mentioned, the diagonals feel a little off...

Does it boot up OK when you remove it?

It could be something basic like it's not quite in fully, I've sometimes had that with memory anyway.

Well, England crash out again..... I think I've come to terms with it (again). We just never managed to play as well as you'd think we would. I guess that applies to the whole tournament from our point of view. But I think we managed to keep Portugal at bay quite well. Neither team looked fantastic....

I agree that it doesn't sound like punk, more like a sort of pop-metal for want of a better description. I don't mean that in a negative way either, I think the songs are well crafted pop tunes in the rock genre that touches on different aspects of the genre. I wouldn't really call a lot of it synth...

Just recently got AFI's 'December Underground' and Zero 7's 'The Garden'. Both are really good. I'm unfamiliar with AFI's back catalogue and took a chance after hearing 'Miss Murder' on the radio. I have to say I really like the album and it offers a good mix of catchy choruses and more sensitive me...

My five would be:

1. Skies Of Arcadia
2. Resi Evil: Code Veronica
3. Spiderman
4. Cosmic Smash
5. Virtual On: OT

Chances are I won't get round to doing it as like Cid I seem to spend more time reading about games and buying them than actually playing them.

I think price would be a big factor too. That's why I got a DC in the end. I was going to get a PS2 but availability was poor when it first launched here in the UK and the DC was cheaper so I decided to got for that. I'd imagine that if the DC was to go up against the GC or Xbox then the price diffe...
