Yes. I fully realised the age problem long ago. My take on that is I can keep it purely a friendly relationship for now atleast until we are old enough to where the age difference doesnt matter all that much. Meh. I guess in the end we should probably just stay friends and see how things play out fr...

My first relationship topic

*sigh* I always hate these things because I feel like I'm going to sound like a nutjob before the end of the thing. So let me see if I can lay this out for you: I am currently a member of a somewhat popular MUSH (http://www.mudconnect.com for an explanation) which has about a dozen or so regular pla...

agreed. although I prefer mp3 because it can go just about anywhere compared to wma (*cough* dvd player *cough*), wma beats mp3 in quality/bitrate ratio. Ive been able to have great sounding wma's at 96k/44khz/stereo

well, i have thought the idea over again and I figured it would be a helluva lot easier if I took another route to do this: What I need to know now though is how i can script and schedule telnet to quickly log into a telnet server, send a few commands, log back out, and be done. I have tried a few b...

script or program to send automated user input to program?

Just as the title says. Ive got a certain program here where Id like to be able to automate some user input to it. Like have a string automatically typed into it at a certain time. I would rather not use a macro program because it would most likely get in the way of other functions. I did remember r...

That (az_bonts upload throttling suggestion) and you may also want to make sure your actual internet connection isnt in the crapper so-to-speak. For example, if you have cable, you should make sure your signals are in line.

How about something like this... http://www.cultura.co.za/images/cellphones/nokia-1100.gif Extremely simple. Monochrome display, no camera, no Java apps, no mp3 ringtones... on the other hand: long battery life, light, small, sturdy, reliable, easy to use, and dirt cheap. yeah. my aunt has one of t...

same here. and ive heard a lot of bad rep for the di-524. It has been absolutely rock solid for me with 2 desktop's (wired) and a laptop (wireless) with a mess of cross-network traffic.

ok. I THINK I fixed it. I just ran through a repair install of windows and despite a few bugged up programs (AVG reported damaged files. a reinstall cured that right up) windows seems to be running much better and theres no hard disk/ide error messages in the event viewer. But it bugs me as to what ...

possibly hard drive going?

Ok. so last night before I crawled in bed I gave my lappy a good restart as I regularly use it as my alarm now and its been on for a few days. booting up windows takes FOREVER to load and when it loads the graphics are fudged up (640x480, 256 colors) and I looked through the event viewer and i spott...

Will this work? (computer quest.)

So I have been having this idea run through my mind the past few days. I have gone so far as to have my good 4.1 speaker system running off of the tv but only in 2 channels. Both my digital cable box and DVD player have SPDIF outputs, its just that I have nothing to hook up. Basically I am missing o...

Id say go ahead and disconnect the floppy and see what it does. You really shouldnt have any mission-critical need for it anyhow, right?
