Don't release it yet. Whiners will flood the board (and your inbox) asking for better speed/compatabilty/gfx/sound/etc, then they'll start complaining, before finally demanding various features implemeneted and/or enhanced. They'll not accept the "GPF is taking a break from this" replies, ...

Sounds about right. MOst C64s I see in the classifieds and on flea markets around here go for that amount. That's the boxed versions with a handfullof games to boot.
You could always check what a set like that would go for on ebay.

[...]BAD feedback is the only GOOD feedback. If everybody just pats you on the back and tells you you're doing a great job, you aren't learning anything new [...] Agreed. Looks like some mixups sparked this whole discussion. As TVspel said, this thread might have been launched a bit early, and as I...

I have no idea what the various letters represent, ratings are shown by numbers here (eg. 15 means not recommended for people under the age of 15) Not any blood in HH, altho' I'm pretty sure a 12 year old can handle some blood. As I said earlier I would imagine Adam (final boss) could be the cause f...

I understand enough Kana and Kanji to get by actually. :) I've been teaching myself Japanese for a couple of years, ever since I started a game translation "group". I never really put the knowledge to good use, as the only translation I released just translated the title screen. Well here...

I'm sure Adam could come across as one scary monster to a 12 year old. Even in Denmark this game got a 15 yr rating. Some kids can take it, others cannot, if in doubt my suggestion is to NOT let him play :)

Could be fun to see what's happening for the DC in Japan these days. You "just" need someone that can actually understand japanese to make a few pages.

[...]I love 2D games but to make even a so-so game you need really talented artists[...] I like to think I have some talent (at least when it comes to 2D gfx), and I'm only doing Raven himself, we've got people doing weapon sprites, villains and backgrounds. you might like Rent a Hero. Will check that one too, thanx Bilal: I don't trust IGN and GS, many of their reviews seem rushed and often off the mark. Finding DC review-sites is no problem, just click my sig (shameless plug  ), but finding games in a category that's not puzzle, racing or fi...
