That's not the issue. The issue is that PSX code isn't going to give you normals to send. I think I understand you now and I'm sorry if I come across as too ignorant, but this: It works like this. When a triangle is passed to the graphics chip to be rendered, it sends six "pieces" of info...

Why would that pose a problem on either the XBOX's or Dreamcast's API and GPU?

Oh, that's not what I was talking about. Oh well, I guess the roms have to be selected manually.

n-patches (or TruForm) is no longer a hardware-based method as it was very seldom supported. It's now a software-based method and as such could be ported. I know nothing about the inner workings of it , but from my (extremely limited, I'll admit) knowledge it doesn't need 3D data, it just works on t...

I wish either this emulator or PCSXBOX included support for ATI's TruForm (which would look great on very low poly games like Silent Hill) and HQ2X texture filtering. No complaints with the current versions though, they already look amazing.

BlackAura: what's with the semi-sarcastic retort? I was merely asking how feasible it was.

jessman: the state of Dreamcast software development is pretty good right now, but things can always be improved.

NesterDC SE-like SMSPlus builder, can it be done?

Question pretty much says ti all. After seeing how great NesterDC SE's layout is, I was wondering if the same could be done with other emulators, namely SMSPlus.

Have covers for NesterDC SE been made?

I just recently built a disc and looked around for covers but I didn't find any. Has anyone made them?

Different NES game versions: are there any differences?

IIRC, some NES games were released in arcades as 10-packs called PlayChoice10, then some had Vs versions and finally there were those NES games found as minigames in Animal Crossing. Besides the different color in some PlayChoice10 games due to its RGB output, were those versions equal? Also, when a...

Come to think about it, I don't know how the situation went so I withdraw my previous statement. After all, I'd never shoot a gun near anyone, much less a son.

As long as I can use mame4allselector in order to select only the roms each NEO4ALL version needs, that's fine. It would be a real pain in the ass sorting through 10k+ roms to see which ones to use.

Hi Segata! MAME4ALL is similar to next version (not public yet) of MAMEGP2X but is split 3 parts, drivers depend: - GOLD: CPS1, SYSTEM16 and TMNT. - CLASSIC: Rest of 16bit systems. - AGED: 8bit systems. Would it be possible for you to create a rom selector (like the one for Ian Michael's MAME relea...

This is awesome news, but 10 years at a time feels like an awful lot of time to not be able to have kids. I'd rather use something more BCP-like.

Oy, this is a flash based HDD, not a card . Oh well, the criticism still applies Sweater Fish: I know, and I would trim my 8+16bit emulation collection to probably 1GB. Thing is, I'd like to have a huge amount of movies in permanent storage and that would require at least 4GB, plus if SegaCD e...
