Any Game Gear gurus out there?

I was browsing at the EB the other day and I found a game gear cart (Riddick Bowe Boxing) mixed in with the used GBA games. I grabbed it immediatley because it's been a while since I blew the dust off of the old GG. Then I thought of researching my beloved handheld and I'm having trouble finding stu...

I finally figured it out. I had the Intel application accelerator installed and when I uninstalled it everything was fine! Thanks for all of your suggestions.

Your ATA cable could be bad. If there's another ATA channel in the system (e.g. for a CD/DVD drive), try putting the new drive on that. I have tried 3 different cables but not the other channel so I will try that. Also, check that you have DMA enabled on your IDE channels. I thought it was this as ...

new hard drive problems

I apologize for my noobness in advance. The short version is I bought a 250 gb Western Digital IDE hd. I installed it as a storage device (not boot) using the instructions provided by WD. Jumpered it slave and the old drive as master (they are both WD drives). I used the included software to format ...

I usually sit here playing my uke while browsing the web and that made me realize how inadequate my $19.99 special I got in Hawaii is. Not that I could play it like that either but even with the audio compression and my crappy computer speakers the tone of that thing was incredible. Oh and that dude...

Why didn't anyone mention dRxLax when you guys were naming all the great four player homebrews on the DC? As you pointed ou there's quite a few, but dRxLax is *BY FAR* the best. Sometimes I worry that no one plays dRxLax since it hardly ever gets mentioned...it's a really amazing game. One of the b...

Possibly the hold switch disengages the power button while leaving all gaming buttons active. It would still be annoying to have to switch it all the time.

DrXlAx is kinda old but for multiplayer it is by far my favorite homebrew. This is especially true with 3 or 4 players. I have lost many hours playing this with friends. Basic graphics and premise with endless strategies and great control.

Churches are already in fear of lawsuits because what they teach doesn't jibe with the aclu. When a judge ORDERS a state legislature to write gay marriage into their constitution (Massachusetts) and the church refuses to perform the cerimony they are accused of discrimination and open to lawsuit. Ma...

Honestly, though, I don't understand some of the conservative social issues. Gay marriage doesn't affect anyone but the people getting married, same with abortion, and guns aren't at all necessary but its not like Kerry would outlaw them. When churches who are against homosexuality are forced to pr...

The Buried Secrets of M. Night Shyamalan

Did anyone watch this and if so what did you think. It was on Sci Fi tonight. It will be on again a few more times this week. I am leaning heavily to the side that it is just a promotional thing set up to look like a "Documentary". I think the guy from "Lost in Translation" had s...

Drxlax: The best party game ever. 3 or 4 people never had so much fun. Smash Dc: great fun blasting away. Echo's Quest: Homebrew platforming at its best. Most of the pong and tetris clones. Rocket racer looked like it could end up cool but development seems to have stopped. DC Fighting is neat too. ...

I love music generator and would love to try the DC equivalent. My only problem with MTV MG is that all of the loops are copyrighted and you can't really use your compositions for a lot. That's why I love Acid. I'm talking about Sonic Foundry not LSD. Just about the same principles as Music Generato...

drxlax rocks!

I just wanted to give a quick shout out to the Daniel Fairchild and the drxlax crew (if there is one). I've been playing it since the "Midwest Classic" edition and I have to say i think it is the greatest homebrew game ever. No dissing of any other games intended there since there are lots...

Carl's Jr. in the south east US is Hardee's. I like them but my favorite meal (showing how bad I can be) is a Whopper with McDonalds fries. They're both next to each other in a few different places in town so it's pretty easy too.
