music

How do you want to use the music. Do you want someone to write midi files or just audio tracks?

nakamichi,

I think your special abilities are in creating something good out of those cheesy ass midi sets. That's not easy, and for that I give you props. It's very convenient for a game developer. By the way, regarding you comment I like instrumental piano stuff just as much as anything

emulation

Don't get me wrong, I like dreamsnes and at one point thought it would replace a super nes. Emulation in general is really cool, and just the fact that you can play those games on the dc is great..... So in the end I agree with you, it's a great project but don't worry about it

I remember they did an article a ways back about all this. They had the dcemu site on it and everything. It's not a big deal, not much has changed since then honestly. Back then the big rave was nester dc and dreamsnes.

music news

I have consolidated some tracks. removed some decidedly unecessary songs. Added a new one. I have another in the works.

soul caliber

Do you still have your scratched copy? Try picking up a disc doctor. Buff those scratches out (unless they're really deep, then forget it). I've saved quite a few discs that way

vitamin c music

I listened to more tracks. Sounds good, but you might go for some more changes, bridges, anytying, and ditch that speak and spell voice it gets kinda overused. Sorry for the criticism. I realized you threw these together without being able to save them for later (fruity demo)

I would rather record WITH the noise -55dB of noise and some pops and crackle from the good ol' record actually adds "atmosphere" to the track On the otherhand if you're talking about recording off of vinyl or maybe cassette (not direct live recording) than I TOTALLY agree with you. Vinyl...

Cool Edit

Cool Edit Pro rocks! I use it all the time. I use 2.0
It has an easy interface, and some of the best noise reduction I've ever used.
What sucks is Adobe just bought them out. The price is about to go up, and some products will be discontinued.
