this topic has warez written all over it. I've never seen a rom with a .cht extension. Try renaming .cht to .nes. Sometimes websites do that to keep the 'internet police' from shutting down their website for distributing warez.

I have the bigger NES model but i havent had any trouble with it because it came with one of those re-designed cartridge pin readers installed. It plays just like new.
