Resisters? No way hosay..lol

Ok. Let's see here. Whenever I add a LED it works..well, people on these forums and at tutoriels are always talking about resisters and adding them! Ok, so right now the LEDs in my DC aren't ones I'm gonna keep there. I have been trying to find blue LEDs, no luck there. So I decided RED maybe.. So, ...

I have no clue what the fan size is. All I know is it's 12V. I updated my amazing site with the new pic of where the fan is. Sorry about quality of pics, but I don't have a Digi cam. This is all on my Web cam. I will have my Digital Cam soon:D http://www.nexicom.net/~rainbow/misc/dreamcast.html *if ...

I *think* 3/4 LED is just another way to say 5mm.

How do you wish to hook them?

Like, will you have them as a circuit or what?

where is that fan mounted? I cut holes in the side for air to go threw, then I just found a nice position for the fan and clued it there. And when I do get some LEDs I am going to be making it more solid. I will have a LED indicator for if fan's on or off. And the fan will be a bit more internal. C...

My added DC fan! *Pics inside*

At first I just wanted to change the orange LED. I did that and it was so easy I wanted to add more LEDs (See the topic about getting more;)) So I thought I would add a extra fan with a on/off switch. I don't need another fan and have no use for it. So I threw it onto my DC just for some looks. http...

So since that LED is 3.7V minimum it wouldn't work in the 3.3V PSU slot? And I don't need a LED for the controller board. I need one like the red LED you have there (near fan) :| PS: Thanks for the link. but I need like a link to the exact LED to get. because I have no clue out of all those what one...

I'm still confused on why everyone says to get resistors. if I have a 3.3v LED and getting power from PSU (3.3v) then what's the problem? http://www.radioshack.ca/estore/Product.aspx?language=en-CA&product=2710151&category=Resistors+Resistors&catalog=RadioShack Would those work for whate...

I already changed the normal LED. I now am gonna add more and get power from the PSU (3.3V spot). I was at all 3 Radio Shacks around here and they have like NO LEDs and if they do they are usually just a normal green one that's 2.5 Volts or something and 6.3 Mcd..
