GenPlus Alpha 4

I got it to work by scrambling the genplus-x.bin which I renamed to 1st_read.bin (after scrambling). I also used a different IP.bin file (I think the one included was no good). As far as improvement.....don't waste your time, or blank CD. The sound was worse and overall there doesn't seem to be any ...

Mame4All Alpha 2

Chui: Just burnt and tried Alpha 2. Nice improvement over Alpha 1 (which was a great release!!!). Many games that didn't work now work, and the speed is better. This is by far the best MAME EMU for the good old Dreamcast. Thanks CHUI for this great Christmas gift!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Audio Samples

Did anyone get the audio samples to work on Chui's MAME4ALL? For example: the audio samples used for Donkey Kong, Congo Bongo, and Zaxxon. I currently have a SAMPLES folder with the zip samples in the folder and the sound samples do not work. If anyone has gotten this to work, please let me know. CH...

Scherzo: Excellent job!!!, Fantactic Execution!! I ran the builder overnight (approx 500 roms), burnt this morning, and I'm enjoying it right now. The whole process was flawless. You've taken an EMU that was almost perfect and made it better than perfect. Thank you so much for your hard work that yo...

DreamFrodo 0.94 Question??????

I've been tinkering around with DreamFrodo 0.94 (the excellent Commodore 64 emu for Dreamcast) these past couple of days and I have a question I hope someone can help me with. Is there any way to edit the Frodo.prefs file to include Dreamcast key controller mapping. For example----to map the Dreamca...

How do you burn new Gyruss??????

Was wondering if anyone had any sucsess burning the New Gyruss. I unpacked it, brought over the IP.bin from another EMU, compiled a CDI image with Dir2Boot, and burned with DiscJuggler. When I boot the disc in the DC, all I get is a rolling screen....please help!!!!!!

Sweeeeeeet!!!!!!!

Finally tried Preview release 3....it's frickin amazing!!!!!! Speed is very good even with sound on. The sound needs a little work, but all in all this is a very nice release indeed.
Thank-you BlackAura and everyone else who's worked on this EMU....we are truly blessed to have it......Thanks

Do plain files exist?????

I tried the sbi files....they don't work. I used the original ELF file of the 1st Genesis Preview Release, converted to BIN, scrambled it, and it worked, but is a little unstable. My question is......does anyone know where to get PLAIN files for the PREVIEW 3 release??????
I'm dying to try this out.

Real Nice!!!!

Tried out Super FamiCast Ver2 last night with plenty of roms.....this puppy is showing lots of promise. I like the fact that you can "tweak" the settings, and some games run rather well even with the sound on....it's also very stable!!!!
Keep up the great work Scherzol

Audio Samples?

Ian: This EMU is a sweet thing!!!!! It's like a dream come true. I was wondering, is there any way to get the MAME sound SAMPLES to work? Games like Donkey Kong and Xevious use these samples. I burned the disc with a Directory called SAMPLES (standard MAME) and put the zipped audio files in there. I...

How Sweet It Is!

Always wanted a DC version of Arcade Frogger. MameDC cut off a side off
a little of the screen, but this version is perfect. Even the audio is perfect.
Keep up the great work JTaylor, and thank-you!

DreamFrodo 0.94 Question

I love this emu......I've been playing a lot with it lately. My question is: How do you load games (disks) that span several disks. For example, Marble Madness is 2 disks (files). How would you set up the drives on the emulator to load 2 disks?

NesterDC Famicom Disk Question???

Does anyone know how to run the Famicom Disks with the wonderful NesterDC. Will it work with NesterDC? Where do the disk files go? And finally, what do the file extentions have to be (I think .fds).
Thanks

It's Near Perfect!!

I burnt the new 7800 Emu this morning, and I have to say it's nearly perfect. The game selection works flawlessly (the previous release was difficult), the sound is good (the 7800 always had crappy sound), the speed is much better than the previous release, and the Emu main screen is really nice. Al...
