perhaps, maybe one the burners setting got accidently changed. check that out. and no i dont think you would have to make a roms CD self-boot, unless your including DreamSNES on it?

well as for DC's that do not boot CD-Rs... well it is rare (as i cearly stated in my first response) but it DOES happen, and I am just warning of the possibility. first of all yes mono does make a difference in speed, (very smal diff mind you) and turning transparencies off also increases speed slightly. But still not enough to make a difference when playing games that run at 70%-80%. As for recoding the ROM file to make it faster... well... i dont think that...

Dont flame the GC!! :( Flame PS2 :twisted: lol well anyway, you know wuht, i would have never thought of Nintendo's strategey to prevent people backing up games and playing them on their GC's, just makes the disc SO tiny that you cant fit a CD-R in the console :wink:

If this is about making a seprate CD with roms on it for DreamSNES, i can help you. Just go to the needed tools page at dcemulation and download the List Maker program. now make a folder called ROMS on your hardrive, and then place all of your UNZIPPED ROMs into the folder. open the program you down...

Well, i am sorry to say that most of the games or even more sadley all of them will probubly NOT play at 100% speed. There are a few games on dreamSNES that do, but dont buy a dreamcast and burn DreamSNES and expect it to work just as well as the SNES. As for the future releases, hopefully they will...
