Ok playable is all I'm shooting for. Low to medium detail is fine for me. Also won't Doom III run faster by extracting the pak files or something?

Anyone know how well this will run on a P4 2.8 w/ a 9600xt? I'm thinking of picking up that graphics card and wanted to know if it could handle Doom III and HL2 at reasonable settings.

Ah ok MetaFox, I figured all that needed to be implemented would be a simple one block save that had a variable to show that the mod had been beaten or not along with a possible list of highscores. Thanks for setting me straight.

Ah actually one problem I've had with SP2 is those cursed updates. I try to set it to manual and I have an icon in my system tray and I am constantly getting pestered to update.

I havent had any real problems with SP2. Some of my programs needed some patches or needed some custom compatibility settings but so far everything is gold.

I was refering to the fact that the announcer said White died from a heart attack while sleeping and your post said he died in a hosiptal. So unless he was in a hospital sleeping, I'm guessing that the announcer misspoke.
