test a VMU file

Hi,

I'm searching for a way to test a VMU file without load it.

Here is my pbm : I load a VMU file and want, when I save it again, be sure that the one I replace is the one I loaded.
Don't want replace another one if i changed the VMU for exemple.

Do you know how can I do that ?

Thanks.

dcload is very small.
A full GUI should be reloaded after each program end.
Why not, as on Amiga a message like 'Please Insert System Disk' ?

Re: BASIC Revisited...

Third - anyone want to help? At the moment, I've got all of the basic code (controller interface, low-level graphics, filesystem handling, sound) to do, as well as the higher level graphics (sprites, animations, tilemapped backgrounds), the PC development version, example programs, documentation, a...

Re: BASIC Revisited...

The second item on our agenda - anybody have any ideas on how to do the controller interface? The maple interface is pretty complex, and I can't think of a way to do it which isn't too complex, but doesn't needlessly cripple what you can do with it. Why not just create 2 simples built in functions ...

Just a question about second CPU emulation. The Z80 CPU share memory with the rest of emulation (system + 68K + VDP + sound) but did it share more? In others words, how the second CPU communicate with the others parts of the console and what should be changed in an existing z80 CPU core or in the em...

atoi : converts ascii integers between 0 and 255 to int.

Ex :

Code: Select all

char buf;
int number;
buf = getchar();
number = atoi(buf);

printf("number = %i\n", number);
printf(" (int)buf give you the ascii value of the char => %i\n", (int)buf);

bitmask from a PVR Texture

Hi, I would like to use the bitmasking method to detect collisions from sprites. My sprites are png files with alpha channel loaded as textures for the pvr (load with KOS : png_to_texture). I would like to calculate the bitmask with the alpha channel of the png : transparent -> no collision, no tran...

Are you sure the pbm isn't in your selfboot disc ?

I'm not a specialist but I though that a binary that work with demomenu can be selfboot.
:?
You can try change your selfboot method and/or look at the scherzo's Superfamicast sources.
