You may have one of the newer DCs that don't support Cd-Rs. I don't know what the exact symptoms are when using one of the newer ones (how it resets etc), but it looks like it doesn't support CD-Rs. In order to test it out, you could download a selfbooting image of something (a homebrew game etc etc...

68k based MAME emulation
I was wondering if anyone had considered using the fantastic 68k core for emulating 68k based MAME games? It's very, very nice having NeoGeo emulation, but I would imagine it would be easier to emulate some of the 68k based classics... (Indian Jones and the Temple of Doom!!! ;-) ). MamedDC is pretty...

One request- which I've only thought about since I dug it out of the cupboard- would it be possible to add DC Arcade Stick support? Unfortunately at the moment you have to press left analogue to exit to the menu (which, of course.. isn't there!!) It would be nice to play track and field on the old s...

DreamFrodo and DCSpeccyalK SBIs
Are there SBIs of the new versions of DreamFrodo and DCSpeccyalK available? I really want to try these emu's out, but can't seem to find DreamFrodo (0.94) and DSSpeccyalK (0.3)...

man, it would be nice to get some good 68k MAME emulation going!! MamedDC is pretty decent up to the 68k.... It would be nice to get some sweet games running like Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom! I think the older (and slower 68k) games should be easier to get up and running... any chance of po...

Over the Top Soccer = Sega Soccer Slam ??? The annoying thing with some of the Sega releases post DC was that they were exclusives on different consoles. So if you wanted to play Jet Set Radio Future and Super Monkey Ball, you'd have to buy 2 different consoles... They should have stuck with one con...

And another thing.. I find the original post a little ironic.. After all, was it not the Sony hype machine that prevented the average person from buying a DC? At the time everyone thought that the PS2 would blow away the DC, and guess what? It didn't... Don't wait around for another 18 months to get...

I've just ordered a gp32 from gbax (flu 155 quid once VAT is included, yeah the government gets more of my money!!!) Really looking forward to getting it, dunno what the emulators are actually like but I believe the Atari ST and PC Engine emu's are pretty good (aaah, a handheld PC Engine.. and not c...

well, shortly there will be a way to play GBA games on a TV via the Gamecube Gameboy Player ( which has been released in Japan, USA in June ..I think).. Although I have a suspicion that most people wanting to play GBA on the dc aren't interested in actually buying a GBA, or GBA games for that matter...

:( it's a shame that dreamspec won't be continued... the last release was fantastic (except for the annoying clicking sound  ) If the sound had been cleared up it would have been perfect for 48k emulation!! Man.. I still love playing Chaos and Rebel Star Raiders.... (although Advance Wars prob...

aaahh.. i find this current argument so ironic... Reaper.. you're getting your knickers in a twist over the katana developed DC 64 and Dreamspec.. and yet YOU'RE developing emulators for several arcade machines.. now what I would like to know, do YOU OWN every one of those machines?? Including the S...
