It's one of the best EMUs for Dreamcast !
P.S. Ian, you are right, the c64 has better homebrew-games - check out Metal Warrior I-IV : http://covertbitops.c64.org/

DreamFrode is definately running better in 50 Hz mode - this has nothing to do with your opinion ;)

Some games need to be in a directory named exactly like the "game short name" (reffering to compatibility list on scummvm.org). If you have the EGA-Floppy-version of the game simply copy all files in the directory "monkeyega", the VGA-floppy-version "monkeyvga", the VGA...

It seems, that all japanese "for Matching Service"-games are kind of direct-connect games :

I heard that some japanese games (e.g. Power Stone 2) have the option for modem-to-modem play (direct connect). Does anybody have a list of direct-connect games (JAP) ? Are you sure you're not thinking of the link cable, which uses the serial port? Yes, I did'nt mean the link cable. Look for yourse...

If this is true, a very simple homebrew server should be enough - maybe a simple DNS-redirect could do the trick...but I could be wrong :-/
(maybe a homebrew login-server (serial nr. check) is necessary)

What's PSO like offline? ehhh not that great. if you are v2 and get a chance to save all the download quest to your vmu then it is ok. With those you can learn more about the actual story of the game, and its kinda cool b.c you get like 3 bots to go wtih you. but still not as good as online. oh wel...

Dreamkey 3.0 can utilise the serial port (for external modems), but games won't accept these settings. I tried these settings with Q3 (US) but it still used the internal modem :( (I didn't put too much effort on this - maybe I edited the wrong provider with Dreamkey 3....I should have a 2nd look at ...

1. Frodo supports directories 2. any name works 3. there is a limit of 1500 (?) files / directory - solution : split your games to different subdirs : all games with an "A" as starting letter in directory \games\A\ ; starting letter "B" in \games\B\,.... 4. Should work....(not su...

DC-TOOL-IP : ISO redirect - why is it so slow ?!

Hello.

I have tried to run homebrew-apps over BBA (HIT-040x) using the ISO-redirect option of DC-TOOL.
But why is it so slow ? I tried DC-GNUboy and ScummVM and it was incredibly slow (30 secs to load a GB-ROM) - is this normal ?
