Well if I had an extra case and about $15 for sprays (good sprays are expensive here) I would spray the DC in the most original way possible, meaning trying not to follow any of the mentioned comments, especialy those that said 'like mine', also I would give it some graphical effects, like spraying ...

The drivers I tried (NTPadXP) just refused to read anything. Yeah there are is NTad which is not as good as DirectPad, but I tried an old version of NTPadXP which worked better. But XP sucks on many such things, so don't expect much from it. I my self am disappointed at finding so many games ...

I know that you people have experience and all, and what i am about to tell you is probably for nothing but you are not suppost to just set the intensity on rough guessing. The exact prcedure i don't know, but my dad (an electronics technician, specialises in Philips TVs but irrelevant) usualy hooks...

Well interfacing extra RAM to the DC is defently almost impossible, but then again I never imagined someone succeeding to interface an IDE, and ISA to the DC. What perhaps might be more feasable is substituting the current ram with an equivelant, but fast bandwidth transfer speeds, but then you have...

I hate these kind of unresolved problems, this advice is going to sound stupid too, but I have a playstation, and when I keep close to the floor and humidity it doesn't give sound (though when it was still new, like about 7years ago (it is a 1001 model) it didn't suffer from humidity), but if I left...

Well I am not a pro. technician, but I think a DVD laser unit could be made to worl on a DC in theory, but in practice, you would need to frist connect the DVD's laser unit, then heavily modifiy the DC's bios and circuitry to teach it how to operate and move the DC's new DVD laser unit. So unfortena...

[quote="Tekchip"]It's entirely possible and even probable that gd-rom is written on media identical to cd-r simply colored differently for identifications sake. quote] I sort of feel so, but the thing is, it might be data a normal CD-RW isn't capable of burning the smallest kind of pit tha...

All your methods seem valid methods to try and solve it, and I will try them all if the shop from where I purchased my DC doesn't replace it. But I don't think CD-Rs would causse that significant damge to cause the DC to be useless in 3months (I bought it 12 May found my reciete). I feel it is heat ...

Crazed Problems

I have had my DC for about 4/5months, and I have six original games, and about 20 pirates that I downloaded. But lately playing is becomming impossible, the games are becomming to jerk, and glitches begin to appear in textires, it seems like a heating problem, but I wouldn't imagine to have this pro...

I have been swearing like hell to get this damn PC DC server to work. I am on windows XP anda UK PAL DC. First I bought a 56K VOICE modem coz i read that non voice modems didn't work with the XP method. Then nothing happened, the DC never began to dial, so I tried building that line simulator, but n...
