Or 5 bucks a month, rather, Although, last I looked, because of the exchange rates, my 3-month block only cost me $9.98. Uh... When was that? And are you sure it was because of exchange rates? Because, I dont wanna sound pessimistic but 9.98 sounds like the fee for 2 months, couldn't it mean that P...

Usually the pay to play kind that store the charactor information on there server don't have hackers.
That's true, but on the other hand you cannot use your characters offline... That's the reason why I don't play Diablo 2 online, because i dont wanna remake a level 1 character.. Can't be arsed. :-/

I realize that...unless it doesn't cost for long distance...which it shouldn't because you're still dialing into your same ISP but just connecting to a different server...anyone? This would be logic. I mean, PSO uses the data stored in your dreamcast to connect to the Internet, so it will dial up t...

Hey, so how did things go? Did you manage to find anyone to play with in the end Blue Crab? I couldn't come unfortunately, as expected. Had to watch 'Audition' Pretty good film, has anyone seen it? Anyway, Blue Crab if you're ever gonna be online again, let me know so I can play with you! ...

Hell-o!
NO LEGIT CHARACTERS
You mean LEGIT CHARACTERS ONLY, right? :)
Legit = someone who doesn't cheat (like me - and you)

I don't think i'll be on next week-end, but nevermind. You have my card anyway, so we'll meet again someday
See you later

I also had contacted with Sega about this. They are going to shut the servers down. Maybe they will release the server-setup software publicly though.... But right now they still don't know what they're going to do. Grrr, Sega is pissing me off, They are making a lot of money of releases to the new...

If you back up your character, you cannot go online with the backup. Sega disabled backups early on in PSO, as it was an easy way to dupe items. Actually, you can go online with the backup, but if you do so, ALL your items will be immediately deleted. Along with your C Mode data for V2 users and it...

Mail from Sega

Hey, Here is a part of a mail I got from Sega, I'm sorry if someone has already posted this. Dear sega-europe.com member This eMail is our notice to you that the Dreamcast services - namely Chat, Message Boards and eMail - will be retired from 28th February 2003. The Dreamcast's online games are not...

Hmm, what qw3rty said is true ONLINE only. If you play offline, nothing will be saved until you quit the game. And no, there's no other way to save the game. Online, the game is also saved when you drop items(not all items, it won't save if you drop a monomate for example), or when you die (=you dro...

I'm not sure I understood what you want so if I got you wrong, I'm sorry.. :) So, I think you want to leave the loop once you've found a match, right? I see 2 ways to do that : First you can simply add a 'break' statement in each 'if' block. This will exit the loop and the program will go on right a...

I agreee with 404NotFound, get a Borland compiler (Borland C++) instead of a microsoft compiler. If you do want a Microsoft product, just get Visual C++, because Visual Studio, which includes VC++, VBasic, ... is more expensive (logically). If you wanna create programs with a GUI under Windows, then...

Anyway I don't need it anymore, I followed Blue Crab's advice and downloaded the pre-built toolchain and now I finally have a working C++ compiler :D
