Dunno if this will help, here it goes. I use Nero when burning. There are two versions of cdi2nero, one is cdi2neroDAO, other one is cdi2neroTAO. My burner only supports Nrg images converted with cdi2neroDAO, coz whenever i used cdi2neroTAO i made a coaster... Try one or the other, it might work.. g...

Everytime I make it and put it in my Dreamcast it makes a wierd sound like it's trying to load it a few times for about 15 seconds then it says theres no disc. It allows you to rename the internal snes rom name- thats what you're after...
