Hi,
Instead of burning 0.9.8 with ROMs can I just download and burn the image and then when it has loaded put 0.9.7 in with all the ROMs?

Re: can you add extra ram to your dreamcast.
Hi, First, it is very likely you will catch hell from asking this. Also, a better section would have been the hardware and modification part. i was wondering can you add extra ram to your dreamcast and would it make it faster? All I am about to say is from my reading and I have not attempted the mod...

Re: Why did dreamcast fault.
Hi, just wondering why did dreamcast fault is it cas of ps2 and its dvd rom. and do there still make dreamcast games in japan and what are the names? The Dreamcast died for many reasons. One reason was conflict between Sega USA and Sega of Japan. There was a lot involved. You can read alll about it ...

Help! Problem with PSX to DC converters with NesterDC.
Hi, I challenged my brother to Super Dodge Ball the other day. The thing is this, we have only one original DC controller but we use a PSX to DC converter to use an arcade style board on the DC. When we play Third Strike or MvC it works great but when we plugged one into the DC and restarted it Nest...

Hi Cless, - Did you make sure to differentiate between normal wear and accelerated wear? Explain what you mean. I mean did you know what normal wear and tear on the systems was to be expected and made sure that the DCs you used either A) Showed a faster rate of decay (like an extreme example would b...

Hi, I own the game Spawn: In the Demon's Hand, for DC obviously and I like the only 2 songs with lyrics in that game. When you beat the game it shows the credits, in the credits it says that the begining and ending songs are performed by a band called Crankshaft. Does anyone know anything about this...

I'd like to have a look at that if you wouldn't mind sharing it? I have a lot of questions like: - We...

Re: big problem with gd-rom overheating
Hi Azer, I can run and boot normal cd-r's all normally, no problems at all. I even use good cds like verbatim. But after a half an hour or so depending if you change cd-r's in between, it won't run cd-r's anymore. It makes this noises whiiiiikachung whiikachunkachung and alike. Guess it's the servo ...

Hi, How do you, you being anybody that believes that they do, KNOW ('know' capitalized for emphasis but not intended as a shout) that a CD-R will break a dreamcast? I mean, that the CD-R will speed up the wear on the DC as opposed to music CDs (which the DC was made for) or the actual GD-ROMs. Isn't...

Re: VMU mod question
Hi, Could a VMU be rebuilt and have a flashcard reader in it so when you plug it into the controller you could listen to MP3's through the DC Bios. And I know the DC Bios would have to be re-programed to do it. Don't go yelling at me for posting this because I'm a newbe at DC dev stuff. I think that...

Re: yeaH
Hi, Remember, though: it is illegal under the dmca to download pirated games. You can buy them, however. What I think is really a pain in all of this is that that copyright anti-pirate site says that to sell the games is illegal, which much include the buying of them too, afterall, under the same re...

UT2k3 demo freezes my computer - Please Help.
Hi, I loved UT and so I was thinking of buying 2k3 since everyone seems to be playing it. So I got the Demo and I got the demo patch 1. Hi, Sorry to be blasting you with a stupid question, but I was wondering if an image converter exists for CDI to CloneCD format? I would use Disc Juggler but I can't, and I lost my original DreamSNES disk... any help would be greatly appreciated... You can do several things. Either convert CDI to NE...

Hi, What's the difference between these two lines: void SomeFunction() and SomeFunction (void) ? Are they they the same thing? If in the first example, I am creating and declaring the function, in the second am I voiding the results that that function would/might be returning? Thanks in advance, Adr...
