You can turn on bilinear filtering in the options. That doesn't change anything and the game continues being crap, but... graphics improve a little bit.

So:

1.- I can use a Controller S "Asia version" with my PAL XBox.
2.- There's only a little chance for standard PC USB HID joysticks to work with an XBox.

XBox Controller questions

Do XBox controllers have a regional lockout?

If I buy one of these Asia version XBox controllers, ?will I be able to use it with my PAL XBox console?

One more question...

?Does this adapter work with USB PC gamepads?

I have DC-X and as stated by MetaFox it allows you to FORCE the games to start in VGA mode. But there are some games that don't work when forced to VGA. Bangai-O is one of them. Others include KOF 99 DMNE and KOF99 Evolution.

Connecting "things" to the USB isn't that easy. You need a USB controller and also you need to code the firmware embedded in the controller.

Finally I have found the way to do this, I had to use two REPORT_ID items, this is the descriptor I have used to get it working: char ReportDescriptor[88] = { 0x05, 0x01, // USAGE_PAGE (Generic Desktop) 0x09, 0x04, // USAGE (Joystick) 0xa1, 0x01, // COLLECTION (Application) 0x09, 0x01, // USAGE (Poi...

USB, HID and Joysticks (Non DC related).

I have implemented a USB HID Joystick with a microcontroller with USB capabilities using this HID Report descriptor: char ReportDescriptor[44] = { 0x05, 0x01, // USAGE_PAGE (Generic Desktop) 0x09, 0x04, // USAGE (Joystick) 0xa1, 0x01, // COLLECTION (Application) 0x09, 0x01, // USAGE (Pointer) 0xa1, ...

Thanks a lot, I already found that link and also this one , but all info is welcome. I have already implemented the firmware for a USB HID driver and I already get it connect to my PC. My next step is to implement PSX PAD protocol, but I want first to build the "box" for my arcade controls...
