Implementing Maple Devices

Has anybody implemented a Maple device like for example a joypad using microcontroller? Is there available source implementing a Maple device? Is there detailed information about Maple physical protocol? (other than the one contained in the Maple Patent document). I'd like to make an Arcade Stick, a...

I thought the [extern "C"] was needed when using C++ with libraries made with a C compiler... In that case you should put it before the function declarations in the header file of the C library. Something like this should work for C libraries when compiling with both C and C++ compilers: #...

It's a great work, from Alpha1 to Alpha2, things have improved greatly. It's true most games have problems, but most problems are related to sound and/or border issues that don't effect playability. I hope I can get some time to continue testing games.

And thanks again for the emu!

LOL $699 for Dream Dorobo, one of the 4 minigames included in Planet Ring XD.

I don't know if Xtreme sports was or not released, but I'm pretty sure I have a demo of it.

Could someone report on how they are loading games as I'm having trouble with the emulator hanging when I try to load a disk file as well. Re: Processor Upgrade Help

i heard it is possible to upgrade or replace the SH4 Processor in the Dreamcast with something like a Pentium...i know it sounds crazy, but....... Yes, it sounds like crazy, and it's totally impossible. You could maybe replace it if you also change/add a lot more components (an appropiate chipset f...

You don't need DSL, you can do it even with a dialup connection. It isn't really useful with a dialup, but it can serve you to test if it works or not.

yeah, I can confirm cpm games do not work. Also when you do a "cat" command on cpm games instead of getting the usual error, you get garbage.

That's not a software line simulator, it's a Winmodem driver for Linux!

It says it includes basic line simulator, but you would need Linux and a supported Winmodem to make it work. Also it doesn't work at speeds bigger than 9600 bps. Using this to play PSO would give you a lot of lag.
