I'm not sure I really understand how it works, but a LOT of people bought cars in Canada and saved thousands of dollars. Maybe it is because of fluctuations, as in they haven't adjusted prices in time with the weaker Canadian dollar and stronger American? There are companies that do nothing but exc...

Okay. based on the copyright date I now know exactly which version is included. One step closer to my goal. Thanks for all the help. The emu I'm using on my PPC doesn't have a country option, so I never knew.

Thanks. That'll help narrow down which rom to pick in order to only use ones I have a legal claim to.

With the Canadian exchange rate as high as it is, it's actually better to buy in the states for now. In fact, some Canadians are going to shop in the states.

Copyright law is fairly cloudly. Essentially as of the DMCA, the program is illegal, but using it isn't. You do have a right to fair use of the dvd, but the program itself circumvents the encryption, making it illegal.

Burned discs won't play on all players. Most newer players will, but certain older ones won't. CD-Rs on the other hand will play on anything.

Point of interest, the actual boxed game doesn't come with a manual. And the do-it-yourself cases and cd covers for the Steam download look much nicer than however Valve is gonna package it.

Sega Smash Pack (PC)

Is there any way to decrypt the .kvq roms files that come with either of the smash packs? Or, if not anyone know which versions the roms are? I've never actually seen a rom for Super Shinobi before, just Revenge of Shinobi (same game different title.)

They are similar songs, but they've been fairly remixed to sync on that 'proof' site.

she said she thinks she might have a crush on that guy she'd been messing around with earlier. ....I told her it was ok, told her to go, see what became of this. "Have fun," I told her, "I'll be waiting for you in case things don't work out." I would have said something along th...

You have three options: 1) Tell her to do what she wants, but you're going to "explore" too... 2) Tell her to grow up and pick what she wants like an adult 3) Tell her to screw off, you deserve better than to "wait around"... I'm telling you this can't end well unless you stand ...

This wasn't file compression with something like RAR, but a part of Windows that allowed you to format a floppy disc to fit more data. On several different discs the storage space was the same, as far as I can remember. I think it may have been 2.56MB - if not that, somewhere near that. I don't rem...

Does anyone know of any good, free videoconferencing software that uses standard webcams? The one included with MSN messanger just isn't meeting my needs anymore.

I know that they invite copyright holders to email them if they want their game taken down and they link to anything thats still for sale. It's commendable, but still illegal. Depending on how the case was tried, that actually might make it legal. Non-defended copyrights can actually cause it to be...

Digital Blasphemy is cool, but you have to be a member to get the right sized stuff.

Deviant Art is awesome (Windows, Firefox and Thunderbird are all themed off that site), but I can't seem to limit it to 1600x1200.

As for type, nothing specific, it's just hard trying to find wallpaper that size.

I recommend some dos equvilent. Hardly any worthwhile programs (from a standard user prospective) run on it anymore, so other people will be less likely to screw it up.
