Important note:
to be able to play this, you need a complete save from the Japanese version of Gundam - Side Story 0079 - Rise from the Ashes.
For anyone not dedicated enough to finish that game but still wishing to see how the Premium Disc runs, there's an easy enough alternative using existing dumps.
This has been tested under emulation environment (NullDC) successfully. Here's how:

Boot the Dreamcast VM Data Issue.
The required Gundam saves (there are two, I downloaded both but you can try with one at a time if you are so inclined) can be found on page 7/30, right between the "White Illumination" and "Carrier" saves. Select those and then choose a VMU to download to. When the process is finished, close the emulator and boot the Gundam Premium Disc. Point it to the proper VMU and hey, you are on the main menu! No more useless disc...
