Just a question on the CDDA RAW audio files. Do they need any kind of conversion? Nope, they're just raw tracks and you can just burn them when you burn the game. If you want wavs from them, you can use raw2wav, but they will burn fine as raws. Of note is that raw2wav will also trim the silent audi...

I've still got all the files from my Resident Evil 2 rip, and I didn't have to do anything at all to CDDA. I have seen other releases where the track numbers have altered, but for mine, I just used three dummy tracks for the first three, so that tracks four onwards matched their respective numbers o...

basically just a hex editor and nulldc I've only assembled a handful of rips myself, and of the ones that had CDDA, they were all Windows CE, which is a whole different kettle of fish. However, for stuff that isn't Windows CE, don't you need to specifically patch the binaries for CDDA? For example,...

If you have Usenet access, you can find the latest dumps being uploaded here. They're in RAR format, so if you want to later jump on the torrents and seed (which would be much appreciated), you'll have to recompress them to ZIP and run them through TorrentZip as darcagn described.

I thought I would jump in and add that some of my previous attempts with GigaRec that seemed not to work, probably actually did. I've managed to deduce that the Utopia Boot Disc chokes on any disc that has 100 minute or more burned to it, and seems to send the laser running off its tracks looking fo...

The method I described, which used CUE sheets, will allow you to extract the files, and will also allow you to view the LBAs of each file on the disc. However, the way CDMage formats the list is not as easy to use as with ISOBuster, and it is certainly not compatible with the popular tool for automa...

Making CUE sheets for BIN/RAW dumps (TOSEC/httpd-ack)
SINGLE HIGH-DENSITY TRACK Games which have only one high-density track will all have an identical CUE sheet. The first two tracks on every GD-ROM are from the low-density region of the disc, so can be ignored completely. If a game ends at track 03, then that means it will need a CUE sheet as follow...

Here's a re-ordered list of just the retail games, to make it easier to know what games to keep an eye out for. If you have a game which we already have two copies of available (enough to make a valid addition to the dump database), please mention your copy as well - extra dumpers are always appreci...

The method I was thinking of was to use the product number from the IP.BIN, but to format it in the standard way it appears on the disc. Conflicting numbers between IP.BIN and the physical disc/case can be dealt with as they arise. I'm not too sure about how to handle multiple versions of a single r...
