Yeah, but it links first CDDA track (track04 in GDI) with track01 in CD. I would like to link first CDDA track (track04 in GDI) with track02, so I would have a free CDDA track to use as dummy.Shoometsu wrote:did you try to use cdda.exe in the main binary of the game to use cdda audio in ripped games?

CDDA re-link
Anyone knows how do I re-link CDDA tracks? For example: add a dummy audio track01 and make game plays track02 as track01, track03 as track02, and so on. Echelon has used that a lot, so I was wondering if there is an easy and generic way to do that.

I'm glad to hear you could make it work. Just a question, even last version of cdrecord for win (the link I gave you in last post) don't work correctly on Vista? That's strange. Just to keep clear, shrinking AFS only remove useless data of index of the file. It doesn't reduce quality or anything, fi...

Cool, you're using my tutorial xD Well, I never used cdrecord under Windows Vista, so I have no idea if you can make it work correctly. Anyway, I'd try this version , it's the last version of cdrecord compiled for Windows. I don't know if it will solve your problem, but it seems to be the first step...

More information
I just made a test disc where I used whole CDDA track (without ripping the end). I ripped a lot of data/sound files, it was just a test disc. Well, music still resets. So it seems problem is not the size of the music track, but something else that I have no idea what is.

I made a working CD-R version of this game from my GD dump files. I used bincon in 0WINCEOS.bin and edited IP.BIN for WinCE support. Music track is a shorter version of the GD track because original music wouldn't fit in the disc. The track plays fine when I start the game. The only problem: in GD, ...
