CAN SOME ONE MAKE A LIST OF WHAT GAMES WILL BE FREE AND WHICH ONES WON'T BE. FOR THE NET I MEAN. I TRIED NFL 2K1 AND IT TOLD ME TO GOTO WEBSITE AND PAY UP 9.95 HELL NO!!!!

ha, don't even try. theres only a couple games that don't use seganet (the servers which are charging $10/month). The ones that don't are 4x4 evolution, POD speed racing, speed devils online, and............ i think one or 2 more games. Every GOOD game uses seganet's servers. (PSO, NFL, NBA, Ooga Booga, and a whole bunch more games.)

Actually, i just read someplace (EGM, i think) that PSOv1 will be pay-to-play, too. :(

This just all around sucks......i got my Dreamcast online just in time to have my isp lock out my account totally (Juno sucks ass), and get charged to play games online.

Man that would really suck, from what I've read sega was going to keep PSOv1 free as a token seganet game. To be honest I'm not suprised, I just hope that future console makers figure this out before they launch their networks, people simply will not pay-to-play. On the other hand keeping servers up and mantianing the games costs big bucks.

Also I've heard conflicting reports about the future of SegaNET, I've heard that it will be the the network for all next gen systems, and I've also heard it will only be on XBOX. Does anyone know anything about that?

Sega had plans to release seganet to all platforms. A possible gamecube connection with dc for PSO ...which may no longer happen. Seganet will basiclly be the xband of now, However plans probably will change...

I don't know about PSO1 but PSO v2 after you pay the 15 bucks for 3 months you dont have a second charge for seganet. AFO rocked untill the gser's came and phucked it up.
